About Aerologie

The art of capturing atmosphere through fragrance.

Aerologie started because I was tired of generic fragrance products.

After years of working in fragrance and designing products for the mass market, I became frustrated with how often the process was about making more, making it faster, and moving on to the next thing. There was rarely enough time to really explore an idea or ask whether every part of a product actually belonged together. Eventually, I wanted to see what I could make if I did the exact opposite.

Aerologie is my chance to slow the whole process down. Each box starts with an atmosphere—a place, a memory, or an imagined world—and I spend probably far too much time thinking through every detail of it. I pour each wax melt and apply every label by hand, then approach everything around them with the same attention. The fragrance names, scent notes, packaging, photography, objects and story all have to feel like they came from the same place. Nothing gets added simply because it seems marketable or because it happens to be trending.

The result is a series of small, finite fragrance projects built around worlds I find interesting enough to explore. I'm not interested in creating an endless catalog or constantly releasing something new. I'd rather make fewer things, give an idea the time and attention it deserves, and let it be finished when it's finished.

At its heart, Aerologie is about the way fragrance can make an atmosphere feel tangible. I love the idea that scent can take you somewhere—a real place, a half-remembered moment, or somewhere that never existed at all. Each box is an opportunity to build one of those worlds from the ground up and explore it through fragrance, design and storytelling. The goal isn't just to make something that smells good, but to create something that feels transportive, surprising and worth getting lost in for a little while.

Aerologie is, more than anything, an excuse to make fragrance the way I always wished I could.
